Thanksgiving

Warning, this is a post of many pics :)

So, Thanksgiving wasn't wonderful, because Aaron was on shift, so we didn't have our main man there to help us celebrate :(  The day started out awesome, though.  I ran in our first annual turkey trot, hosted by myself and my hardworking committee!  That is a whole other blog in itself, which I will be posting, just as soon as I get the official race day pics from my photographer.  Then the kids and I headed over to my sister in laws house for a yummy Thanksgiving Day feast!  The kids had lots of fun playing with their cousins.  I unfortunately don't have any pic's from Thanksgiving, because my battery went dead, but I definitely made up for it the next day.  Thansgiving evening the kids and I stopped by Aaron's fire station to wish daddy a happy holiday.  He was on a call when we got there, but we figured out a way to get him to have to come back to the station and spend some time with us.  Gracie sliced her foot open!  It was really yucky!  Daddy stitched her right up, though.  She was so brave!  Here's a picture of her battle wound.
The next day when Aaron was home we went quad riding/shooting.  We had so much fun!  The Townsends and the Charnokis went with us.  Here's a pic of Mom with two of her best friends.
Wow, Stevie looks really tough in this pic drinking his..................smashed bottle of water.
Rodger, surrounded by a bunch of crazy kiddos!
Daniel and his messy hair, posing for the camera.
(He was seriously concerned about his hair.  Boys are so silly:)
Little Bean and Daddy, getting ready for a ride
Colton shooting some clay pigeons.  He's a pretty good shot!
This is me shooting everything they threw!
NOT
Here's Gracie throwing a major tantrum and Aunt Erin trying to talk her down.  I just stood on the other side of the mountain and took pics.  That's just the kind of awesome of mom I am :)
Here's Daniel doing some tricks for us!  All I've heard from my boys since then is how much they really want a dirt bike.  Not gonna happen.
Go Colton!
Snuggled up for a ride on the ranger
Slow down, Logan!
Me, looking mighty fine, and Ava, snuggling to keep warm.
Erin, being her usual cheesy self :)
Here's Mom, holding her baby
Here's Dana, holding her baby
Dad, Cindy, and Mom
We stopped to eat on our way home that night.  This is Colton, sound asleep on a chair.  He didn't even make it to eat his food.  I think he was officially pooped.
Gracie ate her food then fell asleep on the booth seat.  This is Daddy taking her out to the car.
It was a full day, and we had SO much fun together as a family!
NOW ON TO CHRISTMAS!!!

TWILIGHT

WOO HOO!!!
I Heart Twilight!!!
My homies and I all went to the midnight showing of 'Twilight'!!!  So much fun!  This is one of the rows of my peeps at the flick.
Smile for the camera.  This is one of the only pictures where Julia has a semi smile on her face.  She absolutely LOVES having her picture taken!
Here's Bree posing for the camera.  Couldn't keep her away from the camera either.
If you'll notice in the pic below, Big Ash is gazing at her role model/idol.
Now Big Ash is making the same annoyed to have her pic taken face as her role model/idol.  I think someone needs to be a better example...........
This is one of many pics of Katie and I laughing hysterically.  It's also one of many pics of Julia looking annoyed for the camera.  Smile, Julia, this is FUN!
Me and my sistas in our homemade (thank you Krista) Twilight shirts!
Mine says, Edward, please BITE ME :)
This pic is especially for Ash.  Let's just say that I almost peed my pants taking it :)
LOVE YOU ASH!!!
Katie and I walked the whole theater, including outside, looking for a Twilight poster to take a pic with.  The ONLY poster was inside the ticket booth.  So, being the mature adults that we are, we asked if we could please go in the booth for a pic with it.  We were told that we couldn't go in, but that Anthony would bring it out to us for a pic.  That's Anthony's arms holding the poster up.  Thanks Anthony, you're the best movie theater ticket seller guy in the whole world!!!
So to sum up,
It was late
We were giddy
Took lots of pics
Made a new friend
Loved the movie
Had lots of fun
Totally crashed when I got home
Can't wait to see it again
The end

Tag

Mommy dear tagged me.  I'm supposed to pick the fourth picture in my fourth file and then tag four more people.
This is Miss Gracie and Mulan on our Disneyland trip two years ago.  My sisters Krista, Erin, and I surprised the kids and took them to Disneyland for a fun, quick trip.  It was a lot of fun and the kids were all super surprised!
Ok, I tag Julianne, Julia (because I know she loves games), Katie, and Bree

My Thursday

This is what I wake up to every morning!  I LOVE IT!  I hear her cooing and cawing, and then I go to her crib and say, "Good morning, baby."  This is the beautiful smile I get as soon as she hears my voice.
Ugh, I just want to gobble her up!!!
The first thing Little Bean and I did was go to aerobics.  Because I'm still healing from a back injury I incurred one beautiful day in downtown Phoenix, Julianne taught for me.  Thanks Jules!
So being the great friend that I am, I took pictures of everyone doing their abs.  You know, great shots of their butts and their sweaty faces.  No need to thank me ladies.
Here's a great pic of Bree helping Julianne out with her abs.  Julianne's laughing because Bree just had a little fit about not getting any of Julianne's sweat on her.
Buck up, cowgirl, and do your duty!
This is the pic of the floor Bree took to try and show Jules pool of sweat.  I don't see anything.......................I think someone is making up stories.
We like to train'em young.  Julia's partner, Emma, is trying to show everyone the proper way to do this excercise.  I think she wants my job.  I'm keeping my eye on that one.
Here, Katie is trying to whip Karajean into shape.  This just brings a tear to my eye.  My little Katie, uh, she's even clapping for a bigger impact.  I'm so proud.
Colby is helping me cheer everyone on.  Seriously, they don't come much cuter than this guy!!!
This is Colby just as he's getting ready to attack Ava.  He loves her so much, and if you have boys, you know that's how they show their love.  I can usually tell when he's getting ready to attack her with love, because he does this growling/grunting noise.  It's pretty funny.  One day when they're married, they'll appreciate that I've documented this :)
Later that night a few of us met up to celebrate Miss Dawn's 32nd birthday.  She's totally older than me, weird huh.  We had so much fun!  Even Brooke made it out.  She moved to pretty much the other side of the world and deserted us, so we're always super excited to have excuses for girls night.
(Pretty sure that part of the deal made when Brooke and Wayne moved was that she get to attend any and all girls nights, and so far Wayne's totally fulfilling his end of the bargain.  Thanks Wayne!)  I'd have to say that my favorite part of the night was when Katie ordered a lemon/lime float from Dairy Queen.  That's all I have to say about that.  Anyways, it was a well needed night out, and I'm very thankful for good friends.
Happy birthday Dawn!!!

Crazy Colton!?!

The boys didn't have school on Monday, so they begged me to take them with me to play basketball that night.  I finally gave in, and this is how Colton came out dressed to go???  He is such a goof ball!  He couldn't wait for all my friends to see him!?!  He totally played it cool when he went in, just like this was his normal outfit, what's the big deal.  I don't know where he comes up with these things.  He's so random!
I LOVE IT!!!
P.S.
He did change clothes after we started playing :)
I SURE LOVE THIS CRAZY KID!!!

Grapes Anyone!?!

Erin and Steve came over for dinner on Sunday.  Well, it started to get late and things started to get a little bit silly.  I love my brother in law, Steve!  Man, you can dare him to do anything and he is sure to entertain!  I dared him to shove as many grapes in his mouth as he could.  Without hesitation he went to town!  I think I swallowed a grape whole laughing so hard.  These pictures can't even do justice to what I witnessed.  I wish I could have recorded this.  He was shoving grapes in his mouth at like warp speed, and it seemed he would never stop!!!  All I have to say is, my hat's off to you, Stevie!   Thanks for having such a ginormous mouth and entertaining everyone with your grape stuffing skills!!!
Steve:  C'mon, baby, give me a little SUGAR!!!
Erin:  I'll give you a little grape juice!!!
Thanks for the awesome entertainment, Steve!  You're the best!
