Early morning and the kids are all getting ready for school.
Everyone's a wee bit cranky. Including me.
Colton is going SO SLOW getting ready that it is literally causing me chest pains.
I'm starting to get after him for not do this and not doing that,
while I'm picking up his pajamas he threw on the floor, and making his lunch for school, and loading up his backpack for him, and filling up his water bottle, and signing his planner, and cleaning up his mess he just made for breakfast,
he looks at me so serious and says:
"You just don't appreciate all the things I do around here?!?"

Best Moment of The Week:
I'm at my kids school getting ready to teach dance.
Logan, my 12 year old, asks me if he can go home with a friend. I say yes and he runs to catch up with his friend, who is already in the parking lot getting into his car.
Logan walks to the sidewalk where the principal happens to be standing and asks if he can go across the parking lot to catch his ride.
The principal looks both ways and reaches down and HOLDS LOGANS HAND and walks him across the parking lot all the way over to his friends car......holding hands.
I've never wanted a video camera so bad in all my life.
Priceless.

I will never underestimate my lil' Gracie at card games!! Dang... I couldn't wait for that game to be over... she's just like her daddy... RUBS it IN that she's winning!! Colton makes me laugh... I mean seriously... do you appreciate EVERYTHING he does around the house??? haha!! Also, do you think Logan would care if I picked him up from his class and held his hand while skipping to the car??? I think that would be a grand time!! hehe!!
I cant believe he held his hand, so funny! And Colton's comments just about the funniest thing I ever heard, geez Mom can't you see? Sometimes I feel invisible too!
You didn't even need a camera because you wrote it perfectly! The way I imagined Logan holding his principals hand in my head was hilarious!! That is so funny!!!!!
OH...MY...GOSH!! I can not stop laughing!! 1st of all holding hands, really? That is SO funny!! Colton, oh sweet Colton...I love you!! And Gracie where do I begin...I think she is just so clever! She is losing people to play games with because she beats (or rigs) her winning with everyone she plays with. I love it when she changes the rules all through out the game to make it so she is the winner. hee, hee
